Las Selvas de América

Como sabemos, las selvas se pueden encontrar al rededor de todo el mundo, incluso en América. Es más se puede decir que en América hay aproximadamente doce selvas. Luego de buscar información, en grupos pequeños (el mío formado por Felipe Draghi, Joaquin Barros y Aylin De Angelis) mostrando distintas características de la Selvas, específicamente en América.

Our Family, Our History

In History, we have been talking about Russia´s History. In this case, we were talking about Nicholas, The tsar´s family. So before continue talking about his family, we have to create our own family tree, since when we talk about our family we are talking about History, our History.

Personally, I think that creating my family tree was very interesting, since my family is very big, so I had to ask plenty of things to my parents.

The scene but not of a loving story

As you know, in Drama we are working with a play called "Journey's end" . So to start with the play, we read a scene.  We have to read about  how the dug- out were, especifically in British trenches.

After readind the scene, we have to draw how we imagine that the dug- out was; obviously we have to imagine according to what the book said. Here is my drawing.

Creating posters, but not of our favourite singer.

What do we know about WWI? Maybe not all of us know characteristics of WWI. But  I think that most of us know that the WWI started in July 28th, 1914 and ended in November 11, 1918.  It´s a bit strange because people at those times though that the war was going to finish by christmas in 1914, but the period of the war took longer because between the countries were a system of alliances and many of them were secret. This means that only the countries involved knew about tthe existence of that  allince; so the war lasted for about 4 more years.
This year in Drama we are going to read a book called "journey's end". This book is about the experience of Robert Cedric Sheriff, the writer of the book.
Before start reading the book, our teacher told us to read a webpage. It was about posters that people create during WWI, for the men who were staying at home felt like they had to go to war too. When we finished reading everything; we had to create our own poster.

This is mine: 

• I wrote Citizens as a headline, for people to know that the message of this poster is directly for them. 
• I wrote you with capital letter for people to feel like the presure of going to war. 
• Finally I decided to put that photo because it has a message that is related to what I was trying to say before, and also the man of the photo helps to  make like a feeling of  presure by point the people.
